Andorra Road Residence

The simple program of an endless pool for exercise and enjoyment and a sauna is realized in a series of landscape pavilions connected by a boardwalk bridge over a stream. A single-car garage completes the new compound and replaces the parking space lost to connect the new recreation precinct to the main living areas of the existing home. Each pavilion hovers just above the boardwalk, independently suspended over the landscape and supported by battered and rusticated concrete foundations.
What had been a forgotten and utilitarian side of what was otherwise a lushly landscaped property is now fully integrated with transparent buildings and landscape blending seamlessly.
